- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of Security System Services for the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) located in Washington DC. The contractor shall provide personnel to continuously administer, operate, and monitor various servers and security systems equipment to provide prompt and effective responses and reporting requirements. The BEP anticipates issuing the solicitation by April 2, 2007 for a Firm Fixed-Price type contract. The period of performance will be for a base year and four one-year option periods for a total of five years. The Contractor is required to provide 24 hour staffing, 7 days per week. All Contractor personnel are required to have security clearances in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) requirements. The Statement of Work with additional information will be provided in Section C of the solicitation at the time the solicitation is advertised. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested sources may submit a written request, including an email address, to be placed on the mailing list so notification can be made once the solicitation has been released. Firms may fax or email their requests to the contract specialist listed below. Telephone requests will not be honored. Note: This initiative is non-restrictive with a preference for small business concerns. AMENDMENT NUMBER 001 The purpose of this amendment is 1) to correct paragraph numbering on page 58 of the solicitation. As a result of this amendment, page 58 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the revised attached page 58 and, 2) To correct paragraph 3.a., on page 62 of the solicitation. The past performance questionnaire used to evaluate past performance will be forwarded to the references provided in the Offeror’s proposal and will not be included as a part of the solicitation. Page 62 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the revised attached page 62. Response date and time for receipt of proposals remains unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-MAY-2007).
