- On a sole source basis DigitalGlobe, Inc. will continue to provide CitySphere Image Datasets, updates to those datasets, and web services for dissemination of the datasets in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) mission. The use of commercial imagery for various NGA customers requires imagery to be post-processed to allow full utilization for mission support. The resulting Imagery Derived Products (IDPs) must then be disseminated to end users to allow full utilization of the acquired IDPs. At this time only DigitalGlobe can provide these datasets with the high imagery resolution required by NGA.
