- This is not a request for proposals or a request for quotations; it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI). Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other offers will be considered in response to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. The United States Office of Personnel Management, Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD) has released this RFI to solicit information and estimated pricing from industry in the establishment of a telecommunications (cellular) wireless service at its underground headquarters in Boyers, PA. Responses are not mandatory for a vendor product to be considered. Responses to this RFI are due by 4:00 p.m. EST on July 27, 2007 to the following e-mail address: Carmen.Rozzi@opm.gov or kelly.kane@opm.gov . Responses should address a complete wireless network solution for FISD office space to include industry standard technologies used. Due to the need for a complete solution we encourage working with industry partners and solution integrators to present a joint response. Responses should only include software and services that are currently commercially available. Vendors who are interested in developing a better understanding of the unique needs associated with our facility should contact Mr. Rozzi at (724)794-5612 x5161 to set up a tour. It is the responsibility of industry to monitor www.fedbizopps.gov for the release of any follow-on information or solicitation.
