- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation and Statement of Work may be downloaded from this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia, Regional Contracting Office, Northeast, currently has a requirement to provide calibration services, (labor, materials, and repair parts on equipment listed as Attachment "A" on the attached M00264-07-T-0205. Labor costs include inspection, labor to repair and labor to perform calibration. Materials include repair parts, and consumable suppplies (i.e., nuts, bolts, screws, lubricates, o-rings, etc.) Questions may be addressed in writing no later than 10:00 AM, July 6, 2007, and will be answered by way of Amendment. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with four (4) option years. The award will be to the Contractor who is lowest price, technically acceptable.
