- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N6889871385100 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS 337215. This requirement is for NPTU Charleston, Goose Creek, SC 39445. This requirement is sole source brand name only for Paired Operable Panel Partitions Manufactured by Hufcor. (Item 1) Model 632 Partitions, Color: Palomino with Lambs Wool, Color: Metal Trim with a vinyl finish. Partitions are to replace existing partitions and must match the remaining partitions. Partitions are to be manufactured and include Two Openings not to exceed twenty-four feet, four inches wide by nine feet high. The panels are paired and three inches thick. Panel faces are laminated to the appropriate substrate to meet a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 51. Frames are 16 gauge steel with applied aluminum vertical edge and face protection. Vertical sound seals are tongue and groove configuration and must prevent sound leaks between panels. Horizontal top seals shall be fixed continuous contact dual four-finger vinyl. Horizontal bottom seal shall be retractable, provide up to two inch nominal operating clearance and exert downward force when extended. Horizontal seals shall be activated by pressing the edge of the panel into the edge of the adjacent panel or wall. Hinges shall be steel, recessed and project no more than one quarter inch from the panel face. Each panel to have a minimum of three hinges. Must be warranted for two years against any defects in material and workmanship. Qty 3 Pairs.(Item 2) Installation of partitions at the Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) in the Training Support Building 2314, Rooms 317, 318 and 337, Goose Creek, South Carolina.
