- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement for (6) Strategic Test Corporation Digital ?to-Analog converter boards. These cards are currently used in the shipboard and laboratory tracking systems at the Southeast Alaska Facility. The STAFAC Tracking System is required to use identical cards in order to minimize tracking system development cost and minimize ILS cost by having common components. Award to another contractor would result in substantial duplication of costs to the government. Code 7260 intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Strategic Test Corporation under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplier of services will satisfy agency requirements. However, all responsible sources submitting proposals within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date is on or around 07/10/07
