- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is procuring engineering services to design a modular air gun array suitable for full ship testing. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Weidlinger Associates. Weidlinger Associates is unique because they have developed the air gun technology and firing control system for use as an explosive replacement. Awarding to any other contractor would increase cost and time. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 07/11/07.
