- Description
- The Department of Navy intends to issue a Request for Proposal under Solicitation N69450-07-R-0765, for Refuse Collection Services, located at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, TX, region including NAS Ingleside, and NAS Kingsville. Solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Solicitation Website at HTTP: ESOL.NAVFAC.NAVY.MIL//DEFAULT.CFM. The Plans and Specs will be available approximately on 5 July 2007 and the Site Visit information can be found in Section L of the solicitation. The successful offeror will provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform refuse collection and disposal at NAS Corpus Christi, TX Region and NAS Kingsville, TX. Also, included is medical waste collection and disposal at NAS Corpus Christi, TX, NAS Kingsville, TX and NAVSTA Ingleside, TX. This is a Combination Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a base period of twelve months and four (4) one year option periods. Award will be made on a best value continuum. This acquisition will be issued as UNRESTRICTED under NAICS Code 562111. The approximate solicitation release date is 05 July 2007, with an Offer Due Date of 20 July 2007. Anticipated award will be made on or before 31 August 2007. The Estimated value range is between 5,000,000.00 and 10,000,000.00 million. Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be via amendments, and shall be made only on the Electronic Solicitation website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the DOD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the web site www.ccr.gov or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204-73. Verification of firm?s registration in the CCR Database should be submitted with offer.
