- The National Park Service, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, is soliciting qualified small businesses to enter into a firm fixed price contract to provide and deliver the following types of equipment, this is 100% set aside for a small businsess: CAT 320 Excavator with 36" or 42" digging bucket with thumb or equal (starting date approx. July 9, 2007 at 7:00am delivered to work site) needed approx. 2 months on job site CAT D5 High Track Dozer with 6 way blade or equal (starting date approx. July 9, 2007 at 7:00am delivered to work site) needed approx. 2 months on job site PAD FOOT Compactor 66" self propelled Needed approx. 2 weeks on job site, dates unknown Need a cost on pick-up and delivery of each large piece of equipment to and from project site at Crystal Creek Road where it turns to dirt. GENERAL *The Vendor shall deliver rental equipment within 3 days of the "Notice to Proceed" *Comply with all legal load restriction in hauling of rental equipment on Park roadways *Provide operating instructions for all rental equipment *Any mechanical problems or hydraulic leaks that develop vendor is required to respond Within 12 hours to make repairs or clean up hazardous materials *All equipment must be thoroughly washed prior to transporting to project site. Equipment will be inspected for cleanliness prior to off loading from transport vehicle. *National Park Service will provide equipment operators to operate rented equipment *Project Site is located on Crystal Creek Road off of Hwy #299, 4 miles at the end of the pavement
