Description
The work to be performed consists of (1) constructing a 50-foot-long low water crossing including furnishing and installing a culvert, compacting embankment around the culvert, constructing a concrete path, and grouting riprap; (2) grading approximately ? mile of an existing access road including furnishing and placing gravel surfacing; and (3) rehabilitating three vehicular crossings approximately 200 to 300 feet-long including various levels of earthen fill and shaping, culvert installation and rock material armoring of crossing side slopes. The work under this solicitation is located at two different sites. The work is located at the Superior-Courtland Diversion Dam approximately 2 miles west of Guide Rock, Nebraska, in Webster County and the Zuroske Mitigation Site is located 7 miles west of Fullerton, Nebraska in Nance County. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for August 16, 2007 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation packages are scheduled to be available on or around July 16, 2007. There is no charge for the first copy; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $100,000 to $250,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237310. The small business size standard is $31.0 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K of Bureau of Reclamation Solicitations are now online.
