Description
The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Criticom Communications, Lanham, MD, to purchase an ISEC-320TM Mobile Secure VTC. Market research has determined this is a self contained mobile device with secure and non-secure automat ed capability with cross domain secure switching and is certified by the Government for JITCS/DISA, and TEMPEST rated for conducting Secure VTCs. The ISEC-320TM meets Government COMSEC guidelines and is DoD JITC certified. Criticom is the developer of th is product and is certified with DoD mandated 1435 certifications to install, option and maintain the needed cryptographic equipment (KIV-7) to support type 1 encryption requirements. The NAICS code 334290 with a size standard of $23 million. The Governm ent intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for compet itive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may identify interest and capability by responding to this requirement or submit a proposal; however only proposals received within 15 days of the date of this publication shall be considered. Each response received will be used at the sole discretion of the Government to determine whether or n ot to compete the requirement. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All responses must be written and sent via electronic mail to aca.atec@u s.army.mil. Government will not accept telephone inquiries or responses.
