Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to ILC Dover LP, 1 Moonwalker Road, Frederica, DE 19946-2080 for the purchase of the Model 353 0 Chemturion Level A suite (Part # 3530-10001-01). ILC Dover LP is the sole manufacturer that possesses the ability for manufacturing the Model 3530 Chemturion Level A suit used by our customer. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not co nsidered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed c ontract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
