THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. ITEM PROCURED: CABLE AND CONDIUT ASSEMBLY for DSESTS, NSN 6150-01-485-9566, PN 12934359-3, C/O: (1) CONDUIT ASSY, (7) CONNECTORS, D38999/46FJ35PA & B & C & N, (231) SEALING PLUGS-MS27488-22, WIRE-M22759/32-24- 9, (7) 0RINGS-M83248/1-028 AND (7) DUST COVERS. THE PART IS 48.50 INCHES LONG WITH SEVEN BRANCHES APPROXIMATE 18 INCHES LONG. This will be a firm fixed procurement. FOB is destination. 100% Option. Estimated issue date is 13 JUL 2007. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. In accordance with FAR 8.602, the supplies covered by this solicitation are determined to be products furnished by Federal Prison Industries (FPI). Notwithstanding the inclusion of any set-aside provision or clause in this s olicitation, award may be made to FPI, even if this solicitation is subject to a set-aside provision. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an ele ctronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
