- This announcement constitutes notice of intent to award on an interim basis a 6-month firm fixed price order for air traffic control services to the incumbent contractor, Defense Contract Services, in support of the Fort Bliss Directorate of Plans, T raining, and Mobilization. The contract will begin on 1 July 2007. This is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(C)(iii)(B) as unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements and interruption of services would cause the Government harm and irreparable damage. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
