- This notice for commercial items is posted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for reference number FA4613-07-Q-1005. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202 (a)(13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. Additional information pertaining to this RFQ is currently available and can be accessed by clicking on link located above, entitled ?FA4613-07-Q-1005?. The proposed contract listed is unrestricted and applies to North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 532412. Description of requirement: F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, requests the lease of one (1) truck mounted crane equivalent to a National crane model 1000 mounted on a Sterling truck model LT7500 in accordance with the statement of work for a period of one (1) year from time of receipt dependent upon availability of funds. Lease will be incrementally funded; funds are not presently available under this contract beyond 30 September 2007. Crane and truck must meet all of the following specifications: Minimum crane specifications: sheave height: 95 feet, lifting capacity: 28 tons, A-frame outriggers, load movement indicator/anti-tow block system, planetary burst of speed winch, downhaul weight/non-swivel hook, dual engine accelerators (cable only), 375 degree non-continuous rotation, torsion resisting hook, 320 degree of 9-16 inch rotation resistant wire rope, dual side controls/operator stations, rear out and down stabilizers, rear boom carrying rack, anchors to rear of torsion base, air shift PTO, and electronic engine throttle. Minimum truck specifications: engine: diesel, at least 300hp, automatic transmission, air brakes with heater and dryer, front and rear tow hooks, air conditioned truck cab, tow package, and axle lock. Additionally, offerors must conform to all requirements listed in the solicitation. All offerors *must* be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CR) database. Quotes that meet minimum requirements will be evaluated on the following factors: price and date of availability. Quotes shall include pricing information to include unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
