- SIR Description: In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region; hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request For Quotation (RFQ) to lease a Snow-Cat for the Bakersfield SSC, 1400 Boughton Drive, Bakersfield, California 93308. Request for this SIR will be accepted through Friday July 6, 2007. Request must identify the solicitation number and must be made in writing to Marques Perry at the address listed below, faxed to (310) 725-6842 or via email at marques.ctr.perry@faa.gov. If you choose to respond via email, the FAA will not be responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of your response. VERBAL OR TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED. Any request for RFQ received after June 5, 2007, regardless of how transmitted, will not be honored. The RFQ for this announcement will be issued on or about June 10, 2007. Solicitation packages will be given to the first 10 firms that respond. Please note that this is a Small Disadvantage Business Set Aside for 8(a) contractors only.
