- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Station Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. The project work consists of removing, disposing of or storing kitchen equipment for later reinstallation as noted; removing and replacing all floor drains with floor sinks; saw cutting and removing portions of the floor slab to install new drain lines from new floor sinks to existing grease trap; removing all floor tile and replacing it with liquid applied flooring sloping to new floor drains; adding more dry storage area over the existing loading dock and expanding the remaining loading dock; refurbishing and reworking the existing kitchen restroom and chefs office; removing existing lighting and installing new suspended ceiling with new lighting; removing and replacing five 3X7 doors and frames; and priming and painting all new and old drywall surfaces within area of work. The estimated price range of the completed project is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Performance time is 120 days. The project is being considered for 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. Interested HUBZone businesses should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible and should be received no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact and telephone numbers, and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. Information should be faxed to 305/278-6696. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 236220, with a size standard of $31.0 million. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available.
