- Description
- The US Coast Guard, ISC Portsmouth, has a requirement to prep, prime and paint the exterior of two metal buildings. This requirement will be issued as an option award, where one or both buildings, may be painted - determination will be made by USCG at time of award. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR 13 and FAR 15; this is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS and size standard are: 238320/$13.0M. The estimated cost of this award is between $35-60K. Payment bonds and/or payment protections will be required IAW FAR 28.102. The solicitation will be available July 11 via the FebBizOps website; interested parties are responsbible for obtaining the solicitation and any ammendments from this site. The HazWaste building is a corrugated steel, Z purling building with approximately 19,640 SF of metal (sides and roof, including the underside of the roof). Paint requirement is a DTR epoxy with 2-coat finish. The CMP building is a galvenized steel building with approximately 11,269 SF of steel substrate, including windows, doors and bay doors. Paint requirement is a 100% DTM acrylic with 2-coat finish. Wash, prep, and each finish coat will include 24-hour cure time prior to the next application. Award will be made to the responsible offer is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
