- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Precommercial Thinning using brushcutters, and/or chainsaws on approximately 265 acres of National Forest Land in two separate locations. Work to begin approximately September 15, 2007. The proposed project is a 100 percent small business set-aside. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: $25,000- $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: The areas are located within the general boundaries of the Chattooga River and Conasauga Ranger Districts on the Chattahoochee National Forest in Georgia. Areas are located in Habersham and Stephens Counties on the Chattooga River Ranger District in Northeast Georgia and in Chattooga and Walker Counties on the Conasauga Ranger District in Northwest Georgia. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND WORK STATEMENT: The solicitation, AG-435H-S-07-0013 will be issued via FedBizOpps, as a request for quotes and will be available for downloading on or about July 12, 2007 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
