- Description
- Fully operational crawler tractor (dozer) with operator to move or pile slash, skid woody debris, install erosion control devices and sediment traps, construct fuel/fire breaks, and close roads for timber sales on the Pike and San Isabel National Forests, Salida and Leadville Ranger Districts in Chaffee and Lake Counties, Colorado. This will be a fixed-price service contract for the base year, plus one option year, contingent upon the availability of funds. Work sites will primarily be concentrated in the area between Salida and Buena Vista in the Trout Creek Pass area, and in the southern part of Lake County. Moving of equipment to other areas is possible depending on project needs. Work will begin on or about August 30, 2007 and shall be completed by November 15, 2007 for the base year. Comparable dates will apply to Option Year One (2008). NAICS 532490. All electronic solicitation documents will be posted to this website approximately July 9, 2007.
