- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR ONE (1) FOUR-DIRECTIONAL FORKLIFT TRUCK. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following questions: Question 1: Is minimum lift height required only 144"? This is unusual given with the other specs given on the mast. Answer 1: 144-inches is the minimum lift requirement, more lift is acceptable if all other requirements are met. Question 2: You ask for forks that telescope to a minimum of 72" and a mast to travel forward a minimum of 42". This is confusing, what are you asking for? Answer 2: Forks that are a minimum of 42-inches long and shall telescope to a minimum 72-inches long. A traversing mast with a minimum of 42-inches of travel from the retracted position. Question 3: Is there a specific manufacturer that the end-user referenced for these specifications? Answer 3: A specific manufacturer was not referenced. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 5, 2007. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
