- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Outrigger Enterprises Group, 2375 Kuhio Ave., Honolulu, Hawaii 96815-2992 in accordance with FAR 6.302, Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition, to provide lodging and meals for 24 teachers attending the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Math Workshop. The workshops are intensive training events and require collaborative study groups in the evenings to review the days? activities and next days? lessons. The success of these study groups depends on the participants having easy access to one another during the evening hours, which can best be accomplished by a common lodging situation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. SEE UPLOADED DOCUMENTS FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT.
