- Description
- The U.S. Naval War College has a requirement for educational services, to support nonresident evening courses for the College of Distance Education. There will be five classes in Joint Military Operations. Qualifications for these positions are unique in that they require a combination of professional education, naval warfare operational experience, and a familiarity with the Naval War College mission, experience and functions. Period of performance for the resulting contract is August 1, 2007 to June 8, 2008. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this contract will be considered a Sole Source to Virginia Polytechnic Institute because of their access to professionals qualified in these categories with experience in teaching at a graduate level. No solicitation will result from this announcement. The resulting contract will be awarded as Firm-Fixed Price under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
