- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting on a sole source basis for a firm fixed price service contract to rebuild two divers boat engines by a Detroit Diesel Certified Factory Trained 71 Series diesel engine mechanic. Place of performance is Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor Annex, Silverdale WA. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Detroit Diesel per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Period of performance will extend from 16 July - 3 August 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time.
