- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 6 ea - 3156235-1, Assembly, Reprogramming (RIA) and 6 ea - 3156324-1, Rev. F, Housing RF Source. This requirement is sole sourced to E.A.S. Manufacturing Co., 804 Via Alondra, Camarillo, CA 93012-8045, based on the fact that these are direct replacement parts for the bad ones in the field and they must interface and connect with existing system. E.A.S. Manufacturing Co. meets the tight tolerance requirements as specified in the drawings to ensure all the lower level subassemblies can fit precisely. E.A.S. Manufacturing Co. has all of the necessary mounting fixtures and templates already developed to allow a quicker delivery time to meet our customer's urgent requirement. The connector saver (J2) is a special type connector and is a long lead item. It is difficult to get, because there are not many in inventories world-wide. E.A.S. Manufacturing Co. has access to these connectors that will fit the urgent time constraints. Any firms believing that they can provide the 6 ea - 3156235-1, Assembly, Reprogramming (RIA) and 6 ea - 3156324-1, Rev. F, Housing RF Source, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the service without causing programmatic hardship.
