- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD. The purpose of the proposed BOA and all subsequent orders placed under it is to procure teardown, evaluation, and repair for the ABE Model 310A and ABE AH-1W Adapter Set. The repairable parts for the ABE Model 310 are as follows: P/N 40262-40100-40, System Controller; P/N 40262-47016-10, Gimbal Trq Dr Assembly; P/N 40262-47001-10, System Cont Prcs Assembly; P/N 40262-47018-10, Serial Interface; P/N 40262-47004-10, Video Processor Assembly; P/N 40262-47003-10, Servo Control Precision Assembly; P/N 40262-47006-10, Motherboard Assembly; P/N 40262-44200-20, Measurement Unit; P/N 40262-40300-20, Reference Unit (RU); P/N 40262-95001, Handheld Display Unit; and P/N 40262-95002, Measurement Unit Display. The repairable parts for the AH-1W ABE Adapter Set are as follows: P/N 38413-40100-10, AH-1W ADL Adapter; P/N 38413-40140-10, Turrent Reference Adapter; P/N 38413-40200-10, 20mm Gun Adapter; P/N 38413-40220-10, Talley Rack Adpater; P/N 38413-40240-10, 5" Rocket Pod Adapter; P/N 38413-40260-10, 2.75" Rocket Pod Adapter; and P/N 38413-40120-10: HUD/HSS Adapter. The following spare parts are also required to support the ABE AH-1W Adapter Set: P/N 38413-40100-10, ADL Adapter, AH-1W; P/N 38413-40200-10, Gun Adapter, 20MM; P/N 38413-40220-10, Talley Rack Adapter; P/N 38413-90004-1, Cable Assy, SP, Elect; P/N 38413-40140-10, Turret Ref Adapter; P/N 37977-40006-10, Prsnlty MDL, AH-1W; P/N 38413-40166-10, Sighting Ring; P/N 38413-40160-10, TML Adapter; P/N 38413-40010-10, Shorting Plug; P/N 38413-40240-10, RKT Pod Adapter 5"; and P/N 38413-40120-10, HUD/HSS Adapter. The proposed BOA for spare parts and repair services shall be for a period of two (2) years. The services will include disassembly and repair to the piece-part level of major sub-components and subsequent reassembly testing and adjustments as necessary. All repairs will be done using original manufactured replacement parts, and the units will be returned to fully operational condition. AAI is the sole designer and manufacturer of this equipment. The technical data and drawings for these part numbers are proprietary to AAI Corporation. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
