Description

General: The Department of Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS), is soliciting proposals from firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on the DOI National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. NO PHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register at the NBC website. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will also need to be registered at the above listed site. This service is provided as a convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Offerors are responsible for visiting this website periodically. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No other notification will be issued. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, and Adobe PDF. The tentative proposed solicitation issue date is on or about July 30, 2007. Title of Project: Shuttle Bus Service Description: This project will consist of providing shuttle bus service on Saturdays and Sundays and on certain Holidays at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to transport park vistiors from the Visitor Center parking lot at the base of Big Kennesaw to the parking lot on the crest of Big Kennesaw Mountain and return. Type of Procurement: A Firm-Fixed contract with a base year and four option years is anticipated to be awarded. Estimated price range: $25,000.00 - $100,000.00 for the base and $25,000.00 - $100,000.00 for each option year. The NAICS code is 485510. The Small Business size standard is $6.5 million. This solicitation will be for a Small Business Set Aside.
