SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business Set-Aside SOLICITATION NO.: Q5530070058 DESCRIPTION: The work of this project includes rehabilitating up to three remnant barren communities within Mammoth Cave National Park. The areas to be restored include Wondering Woods (21.2 acres), Eagle Prairie (29.2 acres) and Great Onyx Meadows (15.9 acres). Project requires native seed to be used that is derived from the counties proximal to the park, and seed that is more than 90% clean and viable. A list of allowable species will be provided in the solicitation. PROJECT COST RANGE: Up to $25,000 LOCATION: The project sites are located within Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky 42259 (Edmonson County). Mammoth Cave National Park is located halfway between Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky near Interstate 65 in Edmonson County. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Any required permits shall be acquired by the contractor. The contractor shall be experienced with work as described above and the contractor shall show prior work evidence of related work. The NAICS code for this project is 115112 and the small business standard is $6.0 million. This procurement is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. A pre-bid site inspection shall be available for all interested parties. Time and location will be provided in the Request for Quotation. Quotes will be due 10 calendar days (July 19, 2007) following the issuance of the solicitation.
