- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% FULL AND OPEN. PROPOSALS ARE BEING SOLICITED FROM BOTH SMALL AND LARGE BUSINESSES. The contractor will provide all plant, labor, tools, parts, material, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary for the installation of flexible membrane liners in Ponds No. 2, 9 and 10, at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery. Work includes all clearing, excavation, backfill, compaction, and grading to complete the work described, including removal and relocation of rip-rap. Repair damage to any road, gravel or paved, caused by contractors equipment during the performance of the work described. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The site of the work is at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery (NFH), located approximately 1 mile west of Riverdale, North Dakota. B. Contractors are encouraged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions and equipment. Failure to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. Site visit information will be included in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Full and Open. The NAICS code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, and the size standard is $31 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 11, 2007 with an anticipated closing date of August 10, 2007.
