- Description
- The Philadelphia District is issuing the above RFQ for various items of electrical supplies. Delivery of all items is required to COB Speicher, Tikrit, Iraq. Various carriers (DHL, FEDEX, National Air Cargo, etc.) are known to make delivery directly to this location. The following items are being acquired: Item 0001, Transformers; Item 0002, Distribution panels and circuit breakers; Item 0003, Cable/wire; Item 0004, Splice kits; Item 0005, Terminals, lugs and connectors; and Item 0006, Primary Swit ch Center. Certain items are brand name only because of existing systems and inventory being supported. Other items are brand name or equal. Offerors furnishing or equal products must furnish catalog or cut sheets with their quote. Delivery of items 0 001, 0002, and 0004 are required not later than 45 calendar days after receipt of award. Delivery of items 0003 and item 0006 is requested at best available delivery. Delivery of item 0005 is required 30 calendar days after award. Facsimile quotes, on company letterhead, are acceptable and should be sent to the attention of William A. Bailey at 215-656-6798. The quote must reference RFQ number W912BU-07-T-0060. Quotes are due by 12:00 noon, July 13, 2007. This is a commercial item action under FAR pa rts 12 and 13. The NAICS code is 423610 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of technical factors (delivery offered, product and past performance) and price with the technical factors more important that price. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available on the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) system webpage at https://www.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a Vendor with FedTeDs before accessing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeDS, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (http://www.ccr.gov). Interested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink established in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation-specific data in FedTeDS. Registration for updates to plans and specifications should be made on the FEDBIZOPS webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeDs system does not allow for offerors (etc.) to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed through the FedBizOpps system. Offerors may view and/or download the RFQ and all amendments from the FedT eDs web page on (or after) the issue date of 19 Jun. 2007. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests for same will not be accepted. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FedTeds web site for any amendments. Offerors are res ponsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. Bonding is not required. This acquisition is subject to the availability of funds. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Registry before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. S. firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
