- The U.S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, is conducting a Market Survey to identify qualified producers for the Special Operations Forces Demolition Kit (SDK) Tool Chest. Potential offeror's shall have the capability to procure, fabricate, assemble, inspect and deliver the Tool Chest. The Tool Chest will be a wooden box, with metal reinforced edges. The dimensions of the box will be: 40"x 17"x 15.75"and NOT TO EXCEED 65lbs each. Each box will have two handles on the front and two handles on the back of the box. The box will be lined with cardboard spacers located in the bottom and side of the box and separated by compartments. The box, when closed, will be secured by 3 latches. A laminate label kit packing guide will be attached to the cover of each box. This Market Survey is for planning purpose and is not a request for proposals or an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or pay for the information solicited. Interested, responsible sources are requested to submit a brief summary of the company's capabilities and past manufacturing experience (similar items) as it relates to the product described in this survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status. Large files must be compressed using WinZip.
