Description
Kevin H. Vo Contracting Officer Title: Radiology Service for Santa Barbara Outpatient Clinic (SBOPC), California SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a source sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), Hub Zone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 621512, size standard $12.5M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. The Network 22 Logistics Office (VISN 22) is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide general radiological procedures, digital mammogram screening and breast ultrasound (as part of the diagnostic workup) with both technical and professional components for VA patients at the contractor facility when ordered by their treating physicians located at SBOPC, 4400 Calle Real, Santa Barbara, California 93110. The contractor radiology facilities must be located within 25 mile radius from SBOPC with appropriate management, equipment, supplies and technology necessary to provide the radiology imaging services as required. The contractor will be responsible of providing CD images back to VA for loading and reading into VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System picture archiving and communications (PACS). In providing the services, contractor must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Mammography Quality Standard Act (MQSA), and American College of Radiology (ACR). Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all Radiologists and ARRT technologists whether they be employees, agents, sub-contractor's, providers or anyone acting for or on behalf of the contractor are properly licensed at all times under California state law and/or regulations and shall be subject to credential and privilege approvals by the VA.
