- Description
- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized / forfeited vehicles in the Northern District of Texas. The vehicles will include production-seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of a base year with four one-year options for a total of five years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation No. DJMS-07-Q-0029 will be issued on or before July 10, 2007. The estimated response date will be August 10, 2007. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOpps web site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
