- Description
- The NOAA?s National Marine Sanctuaries Program (NMSP) intends to issue a sole source contract to Guardian Marine International LLC for the conversion of an 85? fiberglass hull Naval Patrol Vessel to a Survey Research Vessel (SRV) for use by the NMSP. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to design engineer the conversion, dry dock, and convert the vessel. Guardian Marine International LLC is the original constructor of the vessel that is to be converted and retains the proprietary rights to the design data. Therefore, Guardian Marine International LLC is believed to be the only source capable of meeting this requirement. All interested concerns must submit documentation in writing demonstrating the capability, expertise, qualifications, experience, and ability to obtain design data rights to perform the necessary work to Contracting Officer Paul Reed at Paul.J.Reed@noaa.gov no later than August 10, 2007. It is requested that all submittals and inquiries be submitted via email to the stated address. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. See numbered note 22.
