Description

IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR SUBPART 19.1305, HUBZONE SET-ASIDE PROCEDURES THE PROJECT IS BEING SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES: SUBPART FAR 19.1305 STATES (a) A PARTICIPATING AGENCY CONTRACTING OFFICER SHALL SET ASIDE ACQUISITIONS EXCEEDING THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD FOR COMPETITION RESTRICTED TO HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERN. This project consists of replacing an existing 26 foot span bridge with a bridge with timber abutments and a pre-stressed concrete deck. An existing five-foot diameter culvert will also be replaced with a 20 foot span bridge with timber abutments and deck. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, supplies, materials and quality control necessary to divert the existing creek, remove the existing bridge and culvert, construct the bridges, and shape the approaches and roadway adjacent to the replacements. The project is located on the Big Piney Ranger District, Bridger-Teton National Forest, Sublette County, Wyoming. The contract will be 120 calendar days. Work is estimated to start approximately August 20, 2007. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, August 9, 2007. The estimated price range is $100,000 and $250,000. There will be an organized site visit for the project on July 16, 2007. All interested participants shall meet at the Big Piney Ranger District at 1:00pm. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 9, 2007, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The proposed project listed here is not a small business set-aside.
