USED ON BOEING VERTOL CARGO TRANSPORT HELICOPTER, MODEL CH-47. ADAPTER SHALL BE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY PER MIL SPEC AND HAVE SWIVEL NUT ON TUBE END AND SOCKET NUT ON HOSE END. THIS NSN IS LISTED AS A PRIMARY QPL THEREFORE THE QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST IS APPLICABLE. CLASS 3 THREADS APPLY TO THIS NSN. DLAD CLAUSE 52.246-9004, PRODUCT VERIFICATION TESTING, IS HEREBY INCORPORATED, AND MAY BE INVOKED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PROCUREMENT ACTIVITY. M83798/1-6 I/A/W SPEC NR MIL-DTL-83798C(1) SUP 1 REFNO AMEND NR 1 TYPE NUMBER All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4730. See Note(s): 9, 22 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for five (5) years. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on 26 June 2007 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of a 1T drawing item. This AMSC code implies that this is a QML/QPL item. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The inspection/acceptance is at destination. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The final award decision will be based upon evaluation of price, delivery, and past performance.
