- Description: The purpose of this amendment is to clearify the description from 7175-T7452 Alum. Forgings Size: 4.5" X 4.5" X 83" Long Grain Direction to 7175-T7452 Alum. Forgings Size: 4.5" X 4.5" X 83" Long Grain Direction "or equal". 7175-T7452 Alum. Forgings Size: 4.5" X 4.5" X 83" Long Grain Direction. Quantity of 40. Shipping is FOB DESTINATION and should be included with the price of the product. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items). IAW clause 52.212-2 the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors, Conformance to Performance specifications, and Past Performance. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-15, Effective 28 Sept 2006. NAICS Code 425110. FOB Robins AFB, Georgia, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contract Registration 52.233-3. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-7549 and the anticipated response date will be 19 April 2007 and the anticipated award date will be 25 April 2007.
