- Description
- The Air Force intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract for nonpersonal service to provide Tinker AFB, OK the following support: Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, material, facilities, transportation, and any incidentals necessary to provide a lease for Blast Media used in de-painting and removing corrosion as needed from aircraft, aircraft component parts, aerospace vehicles and aerospace gound equipment. Contractor shall provide for the delivery and removal of Blast Media from Tinker AFB and shall recycle it in a manner that will prevent it from being considered a solid waste or hazardous waste. The performance period shall include a Basic year and three one-year options. It should be noted that all contractors are required to be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http:www.ccr.gov prior to award. In addition, Contractor must be registered at On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov . The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 327910. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
