- The Fleet Readiness Center East, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for various aircraft parts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-07-T-N250 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-86. This acquisition is under the North American Industry Classification System code 336413, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following: Item 0001, 6 each bearing, ball, annular, P/N SB1155-102 or 206S401, NSN 3110-01-124-4006. This item is a direct replacement aircraft part manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, cage code 78286 and MRC Bearings, Inc, cage code 38443. Item 0002, 7 each gearshaft, bevel, P/N 65391-11692-101, NSN 3040-01-125-7327. This item is a direct replacement aircraft part manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation., cage code 78286. Item 0003, 8 each shaft assembly, pitch control, P/N 65395-07031-042, NSN 1615-01-306-9480. This item is a direct replacement aircraft part manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation., cage code 78286. Item 0004, 3 each nut, plain, round, P/N S6435-20047-108, NSN 5310-00-938-9514. This item is a direct replacement aircraft part manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation., cage code 78286. The delivery requirements are FOB destination and are to be delivered to Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC 28533. Delivery is required within ten (10) days of award or sooner. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (SEPT 2006). FAR 52.212-1 Addendum. The following addition/changes are made to FAR Provision 52.212-1, which is incorporated by reference: The following provision is hereby incorporated by reference: 52.211-14 Notice of Priority Rating For National Defense Use (SEPT 1990). DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JUN 2005). A completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006), Alternate I (APR 2002). A completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (FEB 2007). FAR 52.212-4 Addendum. The following addition/changes are made to FAR Clause 52.212-4, which is incorporated by reference: The following clauses are hereby incorporated by reference: FAR 52.211-15 Defense Priority and Allocation Requirement (SEPT 1990). DFARS 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation (JUN 2005). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (APR 2007), applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (a); 52.203-3 Gratuities (APR 1984); and applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); (5) (12) (17) (20)(i). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAR 2007), to include the following clauses listed at paragraph 52.212-5 (b): (1) (7) (15) (16) (17) (18) (19) (20) (21) (22) (27) and (32). Award shall be made to the lowest priced responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and who demonstrates acceptable past performance. Offerors will be evaluated on the basis of advantages and disadvantages to the Government that might result from making more than one award (multiple awards). It is assumed, for the purpose of evaluating offers, that five-hundred dollars would be the administrative cost to the Government for issuing and administering each contract awarded under this solicitation, and individual awards will be for the items or combinations of items that result in the lowest aggregate cost to the Government, including the assumed administrative costs. This requirement has a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-A1. All quotes must be received no later than 3:oo p.m., local time, 02 July 2007.
