- In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656) the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Re-stripe Park Roadways and Parking Lots. The work consists of providing all necessary labor, equipment, material and services for the removal of existing markings where required, installation of new lettering, symbols and stripes, new markings, curb painting and re-striping, and for roadway stripes only, glass bead drop-on application. All work pertaining to Accessible Vehicle and Van Spaces shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 as amended. The work site is at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve in three (3) park units, which are located in three (3) separate parishes of Louisiana. This includes: Jefferson Parish, Lafourche Parish and Lafayette Parish. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $31.0 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A firm fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 30 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice To Proceed. A Site Visit will be announced in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) listing the location, time and date; prospective offeror's are encouraged to attend. All interested parties desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register at the following websites: Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) - http://ideasec.nbc.gov and the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) - http://www.ccr.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) with specifications and attachments will be tentatively issued on or about July 9, 2007, and made available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF formats.
