Description

In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656) the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The work consists of providing all necessary labor, equipment, material and services to provide and install digital voice telephone equipment, hardware and wiring to replace existing telecommunications systems. The system will be a voice system and not voice over IP. The work site is located at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve, Barataria Preserve, Marrero, Louisiana. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238210 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. The estimated price range is between Less than $25,000.00. A firm fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 14 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice To Proceed. A Site Visit will be announced in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) listing the location, time and date; prospective offeror's are encouraged to attend. All interested parties desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register at the following websites: Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) - http://ideasec.nbc.gov and the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) - http://www.ccr.gov. You must register at both websites. In order to register at these websites, you must have a DUN's number. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) with specifications and attachments will be tentatively issued on or about July 9, 2007, and made available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF formats. To receive a RFQ package - Solicitation # Q75300070013, you must download it from either of the following websites: htttp://ideasec.nbc.gov or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. HARD COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. TELEPHONE OR E-MAIL REQUESTS for RFQ packages WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Anticipated contract award date is July 27, 2007.
