Description

This acquisition is a fixed price procurement for seawall construction in the Anglesea Section of North Wildwood, New Jersey along the Hereford Inlet frontage. Work may include, but is not limited to: Removal and reuse of existing stone, excavation, placement of stone filled marine foundation mattress, placement of articulated concrete block mattress, placement of concrete bulkhead protection, placement of core stone, placement of capstone ranging in weight between 2 and 4 tons, and extension of stor m water outfalls. The project will consist of a base and one or more options for additional lengths of seawall. The required quantity of stone to complete the entire project is estimated to be approximately 58,000 tons. The entire seawall length will be a pproximately 2,450 feet, and the Completion time for the project is 365 calendar days including the base and options. Bidders will be required to submit Specialized Experience, Past Performance, Key Personnel, and Schedule, including base and options, wit h their pre-award survey. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to the bidder whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the specifications. Estimated cost range for this procurement is over $10 million. The NAICS Code for this project is 23 7990 and the small business size standard is $31 million. Issue date is on or about 17 July, 2007 with a bid opening date of 11:00 a.m. on or about August 21, 2007. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation documents will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) homepage located at https://www.fedteds.gov/.
