Description
This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603(i) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2007-0426. Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on F3V0A37165A001. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 238210, Size Standard, $13,000,000. Line Item 0001 : Install a new sound system for a chapel, IAW statement of work. Statement of Work is available via email, from jason.lent@sheppard.af.mil. A site visit is scheduled for 28 June 2007 at 1:00 PM. Bidders/offerors should be at the Sheppard AFB Entry Control Center with driver?s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance at this time and date. From there they will be escorted to view the work site and present pertinent questions. Bidders/offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve bidders/offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the invitation for bids/request for proposals, the specification, or related documents. The award will be based on Best Value to the government, based off of price, delivery/installation time, and quality of the equipment used.
