- Description
- This is a100% set-aside procurement for service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has a requirement for window cleaning services for the following three VA facilities: University Drive, Highland Drive and Delafield Road. The NAICS code is 561720 with the small business size standard of $15.0M. Responses from other than service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies and transportation for cleaning windows and related surfaces to include but not limited to windows, glass in doors (all entry doors), glass ventilators and/or transoms, blanks (panes of glass on the outside of a structure only), Kalwall® panels (translucent fiberglass wall and window panels), glass or plexiglass smoking shelter (free-standing structures), all related surfaces mentioned in the Requirements (e.g. screens, tracks and sills). Cleaning shall be performed on the inside and outside of surfaces, except where otherwise indicated in the schedule of pricing. Solicitation will be available on/about 07/09/07 to interested parties through electronic data interchange at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for downloading free of charge. The offeror is responsible to download all amendments and other documents from this website without further notices from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. It is highly recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Hard copy requests must be submitted in writing to Cheryl Weidner at Contracting (04A1-H), VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. No telephone requests will be accepted. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the website. Solicitation is to be issued for bids for Base Year with two Option Years. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for July 17, 2007 @ 9:30 a.m. at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. NOTE: All interested and qualified service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns are strongly encouraged to attend. Questions will be accepted by the Contracting Officer until close of business seven (7) calendar days after the pre-bid and responses will be provided to all on the Bidder's Mailing List. Questions received later than seven (7) calendar days will not be addressed in the interest of adhering to the scheduled bid opening date. Bid opening will be on or about August 8, 2007 at 3:00 PM in the A&MM Conference Room 373E, Third Floor, Bldg. 4 at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. All respondents must be registered in the CCR data base. Registration may be completed online at http://www.ccr.gov. All qualified responsive/responsible bidders may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency if received timely. Contract is subject to availability of funds.
