- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-07-RP-0184 for the following supply item. The contractor shall be required to complete and deliver to Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California, inscribed marble columbarium niche covers (I1). This contract shall be F.O.B. Destination. The niche covers will be delivered within twenty (20) days following receipt of order. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one marble sample, representative of the stone to be used, the finish to be attained, and testing results, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample shall be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for arranging shipping and handling of the markers to the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, 3) Price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about July 16, 2007. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about August 7, 2007 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 1.
