- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, Puerto Rico, intents to solicit offers and award one firm-fixed price, Design-Build contract, for renovation/site preparation of an existing Linear Accelerator/Radio Therapy Room under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code number 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size standard is $31.0M. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to perform design-build services necessary for the renovation/site preparation of an existing Linear Accelerator/Radio Therapy Room with an approximate area of 700 SF for the installation of a new Clinac iX Linear Accelerator Equipment by Varian Medical Systems and its supporting control systems. Equipment installation will be executed by Varian Medical Systems Inc. This procurement is 100% set aside for SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) concerns. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 1, 2007. Actual response date will be indicated in the solicitation. This solicitation will be available in electronic format ONLY; dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA will not provide hard copies. Copies of the solicitation may be downloaded at no charge at www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advice that they are responsible for review, monitor, and download this solicitation and any other related documentation posted in the above mentioned website; to ensure that they have the most updated information about this acquisition.
