- This SIR Announcement cancels all previous sir announcements in relation to this project. Please respond to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Deana Galloway @ deana.galloway@faa.gov only. The FAA AWP Region intends to negotiate a contract for freestanding systems workstations, private offices and other related items including installation for the FAA ARTCC Facility located at 2555 East Rancho Vista Blvd., Palmdale, CA Multiple awards may result from this solicitation for the various project elements. Offerors should be aware that the FAA is exempt for soliciting from GSA mandatory Federal Supply Schedule contracts, but is still eligible for FSA FSS pricing. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis to small disadvantaged businesses, 8 (a) contractors. It is the desire of the FAA to solicit directly from furniture dealers located in the Southern California area in order to have a local contract for on-site furniture issues that may arise during delivery/installation. The FAA requires contractors to provide storage, delivery and off-loading of furniture to site. Work is scheduled to be started on or about July 9, 2007 and must be completed within 10 working days. Issuance of the Request for Offer is scheduled for July 2, 2007. Requests must identify the solicitation number and must be made in writing or via email at deana.galloway@faa.gov. If you chose to respond via email the FAA will not be responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of your response. VERBAL OR TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. Any request for RFQ received after this date, regardless of how transmitted, will not be honored. The RFO for this project will be issued on or about July 2, 2007. Please note that this is a Small Disadvantaged Business Set Aside for 8(a) contractors. The FAA may make award without communications or negotiations; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the Best Value to the FAA.
