Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is E004964 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 443120 with a small business size standard of $8 million. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. The deadline for submitting quotes is Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM EST. The FBI intends to purchase 400 video monitors with the following minimum specifications: 1) 7-inch TFT-LCD Active Matrix Display; 2) 1440 x 240 resolution; 3) Front Panel Controls; 4) 16:9 Widescreen; 5) two video inputs NTSC; 6) 12 vdc operation; 7) Stand type mounting one-fourth-20; 8) Headrest Mounting Shroud; and 9) Maximum dimensions: (W) 7.1 inch x (H) 4.5 inch x (D) 1.1 inch. Please submit warranty terms. F.O.B. Destination is Quantico, VA. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability and price. Technical capability is more important than price. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items. CCR Requirement: Company shall be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them. Offers received after this date and time will be considered late and will not be considered for award. Award shall be made within fifteen days. The FBI reserves the right to award without discussions.
