- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of providing coinless vending operation services for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp located in Duluth, Minnesota. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The contractor will be required to provide coinless vending machine services for vending snack food and beverage products. These machines fall under class 3 type vending machines. Class 3 vending machines are located in the institution common areas for primary use by the inmate population. The machines will be a combination of approximately 9 Beverage (Soda), 2 Beverage (Juice), 1 Beverage (Hot), 1 Snack, 3 Cold Food machines. The contractor supplied vending machines shall be equipped with Debitek Model 3 System card readers. The solicitation will be available on or about July 03, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
