- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. THIS IS A SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, is soliciting proposals for shuttle and courier services in the Baltimore/Washington DC metro area. Tasks include providing shuttle services for employees, patients (some needing wheelchair/handicap accessible vehicles), and students as well as regular and as-needed courier services. One contract is anticipated with an award made on or about 15 July 2007. PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY 4:00 P.M. (local time) ON 6 JULY 2007 in accordance with the solicitation. Submit all questions in writing to dusta@od.nih.gov. All responsible service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the Government.
